23rd SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

In just five years, Facebook has gone from a startup to a social network phenomenon with 500 million users. People have found a new voice, a new way to connect. They have discovered that in their numbers they have the power to change governments.In today’s Gospel, we learn that 2,000 years ago, Jesus also told us that there is power in numbers. First, he says, “If two of you agree on earth about anything you ask, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.” And then he says, “where two or three of you are gathered in my name, I am there among them.”
