The mission behind this program is to simply expose the youth of St. Joseph Parish to religious life. Stats from a survey conducted by the USCCB reflected 39% of males and 31% of females have never considered a religious vocation due to a general lack of interest. However, among the surveyed adults, who say they have considered a vocation, most report that they did so between the ages of 13 and 24. Our belief and hope is that something as simple as spending time with religious brothers and sisters will be enough to generate interest in these vocations.
