SEVENTEENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

FOCUS: Be persistent in prayer and nag if you must; God hears you every time.
The truth of today’s psalm, Lord, on the day I call for help, you answered me, may not always be apparent. There are times when we pray and it seems that God is either not listening or is unwilling to give us what we want. The Scriptures tell us to be persistent and to keep praying: that in God’s time our prayers are always answered.
