FOCUS: JESUS CHRIST IS KING
Even though the inscription over the head of Jesus on the cross proclaimed that he was King of the Jews, it is doubtful that the soldiers there actually had the faith to recognize the truth of this sign. Today, we, the people of God, the Church, do recognize it. We celebrate the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe.
