Participants of the Synod of Bishops- The vocation and mission of the family
Today the final list of
participants was released for the 14th Ordinary General Assembly of
the Synod of Bishops which will be held between 4-25 October in the Vatican.
The bishops will discuss the theme: “The vocation and mission of the family in
the Church and the contemporary world”. Each of the three weeks will be
dedicated to a different topic: “Listening: the context and challenges to the
family”; “The gaze of Christ: The Gospel of the family” and “Discussion:
pastoral perspectives”. Along with the list of Synod Fathers, the list of other
participants (collaborators, assistants, auditors and fraternal delegates)
which will be coordinated by the Secretary General, Cardinal Lorenzo
Baldisseri.
