Lost your glasses? Many people who cannot find their glasses after searching everywhere ask Saint Anthony for help. After ransacking the whole area, many even pray to Saint Jude, known as the patron saint of lost causes. It is usually after all this turmoil that searchers discovered they have been wearing the glasses all this time. It’s strange. But sometimes we can’t see things even though they are right in plain sight. Today’s Gospel presents Jesus in a new light. He is transfigured before the astonished eyes of his disciples. Clearly, Jesus is more than he appears. He is the son of God.
