TWENTY THIRD SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

FOCUS: The Son of God, Jesus Christ, saves us.
Our human minds cannot understand what is of the world let alone what is of God and the spiritual life. We cannot be saved by ourselves, our family and friends, or our worldly possessions and positions. The only way to heaven is to empty our hands of our earthly cares, take up our cross, follow Jesus and do God’s will.
