Spotlight on the 2015 Lenten message of Pope Francis
(Vatican Radio) There was no weekly general audience this past week in the Vatican as Pope Francis was on his annual spiritual exercises with other members of the papal household. A retreat which took place in the town of Ariccia, at the ‘Casa Divin Maestro’ centre, about 20 miles south of Rome. Pope Francis stayed there along with other members of the Roman Curia, from Sunday 22nd to Friday the 27th.
But while there he knew he’d left us all a special Lenten message. Monsignor Peter Fleetwood comments on this document and its three phrases from Scripture.
